Our managing director Kevin McParland presented the prestigious prize to Bill Jones, Managing Partner of JMW Solicitors LLP. The city centre firm won in the same category in 2013.

MFL Professional is a long-standing insurance partner of Manchester Law Society and our commitment was displayed on the evening.

Kevin McParland reflected on how the awards gave MFL Professional the chance to develop its established relationship with legal businesses and professionals in Manchester:

MFL Professional toasts top Law talent

More than 500 legal professionals attended the Manchester Legal Awards 2013 this March, its prestigous sponsors including MFL Professional Insurance Brokers.

Our managing director Kevin McParland was a guest, presenting the prize for Medium Law Firm of year to Bill Jones, Managing Partner of JMW Solicitors.

Manchester Legal Awards is organised by our legal partner Manchester Law Society (MLS) on an annual basis. The successful awards dinner celebrates the achievements of the city’s legal profession over the last 12 months and has raised just under £5,000 for local charity Francis House Children’s Hospice this year.

Kevin McParland said: “Manchester Law Society (MLS) do a fantastic job in organising this annual event and we are more than happy to support them and their members at this occassion.

“Whilst the event is a fun evening, it is also aspirational on many levels, from Trainee Of The Year, to the Large Firm of the Year awards. Roll on next year!”
